This first picture is of my daughter posing in a as she calls it "Cinderella dress" I love the the expression this photo captures. It was originally taken in color but I changed it to black and white because I felt it gave the photo a simple feeling.

This photo is of my nephew and was taken on Easter. I absolutely love his expression and feel it is a very natural photo.

These bottom two pictures were taken last summer but I felt they were also good examples of portraits so I thought I would share them. I really like the angle of the first picture. The bottom picture is really neat because of the different directions the girls are looking in.

I love all of your pictures. They are all very well taken. I think that my favorite photo is the first of the Cinderella dress. I like how the little girls face is close in the shot with the skirt having symmetry in the back flowing on both sides. You did a great job!
ReplyDeleteI love your pictures. The first two although posed still come off as very natural; the other two look like you caught them without a pose.. I love that black and white effect- I would not have thought of that but it really works. Great work.
ReplyDeleteThese are all very good. You have kept your subject the main focus of the image by keeping their image in the full frame, for the most part. All of your subjects appear to be very relaxed with you taking their picture. This is probably one of the most important things you can accomplish when taking portraits. Making your subject feel at ease.
ReplyDeleteLOVE the hammock picture the best!! That is frameable :)
ReplyDeleteThese are great! I really like the princess dress one that a great shot of childhood :-)
